FIBERTANKER / FIBERTHOUGHTS
The sculpture works with young, old and prehistoric* pine, where the oldest one is folded into the log as double dovetail joints to equalize tensions within the work.
The youngest pines has grown in spirals and gather in the centre.
*Found at the bottom of a bog and C14 dated to just over 7,000 years.
